Donating to Ramsey Research Foundation

Through donations large and small, RRF has been able to conduct critical pollinator research that could not have happened otherwise. Your generous donation will help us push forward multiple key initiatives that have not been fully funded, including:

  • Kleptocytosis | Conduct multi-year research biochemical and genetic research to control, if not outright eradicate, the invasive Varroa Destructor mite

  • International Research Labs | Invest and launch strategically located lab facilities in these areas across Asia, specifically in places with high pollinator biodiversity and low access to requisite equipment and facilities.

  • Honey Bee-nome Project | Map the genomes of all bee species around the world to better understand how to mitigate pandemic risks

  • Global Symbiosis Compendium | Research into all honey bee diseases globally to prepare for emergency responses

  • Superorganism Behavioral Research | Purchase of equipment and hiring of staff to research how honey bees manage parasites and diseases as a collective superorganism

  • Tropi Tracking & Management | Coordinate global diagnostics of honey bee populations to track the spread and control measures of the Tropilaelaps mite

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your donation to Ramsey Research Foundation is tax-deductible.
